Great local spot – not a tourist trap Osteria Alle Due Porte served really good food at fair prices, and the house wine was great too. Desserts were also enjoyable, and the service was super friendly and welcoming. Even though the menu was in English – which can sometimes be a sign of a touristy place – the osteria was full of locals, and the atmosphere felt authentic. Nothing felt gimmicky or watered down. A genuinely good spot for a relaxed and tasty meal in Bologna. We’d definitely go back.

Very lively family run restaurant, busy with servers that are all on point and the inside is exceptionally clean. Their pasta is delicious especially with Ragu, the servers recommended wine was perfect as well. Not the quietest on a Saturday night but well worth the stop if in Bologna.

Nice ristorante in a vibrant quartiere. The food was really good, especially the white truffle burrata and straciatella was exceptional. Definitely worth a visit to taste traditional Bolognese food.

The service is exceptional, and the wine selection is truly delightful. While the meals and desserts are enjoyable, the standout for me is their pasta—it's the best I've ever tasted. I highly recommend this place. Additionally, the interior design is unique and adds to the overall experience.

Pugliese cuisine, and excellent versions thereof! The place is on a pretty busy street, and a bit easy to overlook - which would be a mistake, because inside you’ll find some truly excellent food/service! (And yeah, it’s in Bologna, so of course there is bolognese stuff too, but the pugliese stuff is brilliant ) The staff is welcoming, and always ready to discuss your choices with you, so don’t hesitate to ask! Bottom line - it’s well worth hunting out

I can’t say enough about this restaurant. The food was exceptional, the service was excellent and the atmosphere on the terrace was lively. Our server recommended traditional dishes. We really enjoyed the Burratina cheese with chicory greens, tortelloni with butter and sage and tagliatelle with Bolognese sauce. Also, the sour dough bread was delicious. The staff are polite and also fluent in English.

I'd travel back just to enjoy this restaurant again!! It all looked so good that I had a tough time to choose. I decided on the fresh made pasta with lamb ragu and grilled veggies. Perfection! The pasta was steaming hot and cooked perfectly. The bit of bite was perfect with the lamb ragu. It was so very good! My wonderful server brought out olive oil and fresh Parmigiano which I added to my veggies (and heaps of fresh cracked pepper) and that was a perfect dip for the bread. The tables around me had the orecchiette with greens, bolognese ragu, grilled octopus, the beef with arugula and Parm and a few other dishes. They were all Italian but from the gestures and sounds... we all enjoyed our meals equally lol. The service is impeccable. Each and every person there was great. I've traveled to Italy so many times and this is hands down one of my fav experiences. The restaurant is located in a beautifully quirky old area. It is the quintessential Italian foodie experience!! Can't recommend this restaurant enough! Thank you
